A UK-based Travel Group offering competitive flights & holiday packages across Europe.


Our client required a Head of Web Development to assist in the strategic management and continual development and enhancement of its e-commerce portfolio.


Finding a candidate with the level of required Travel sector combined with the E-commerce experience required to successfully perform the role.  Due to climate and ownership change the budget for the role was also under market value.


Our initial concern was the salary and job description available for what was a critical role within the business. 

TIMES’ first port of call was to meet with the executive management team to discuss their requirements.   

Using our market knowledge, TIMES was able to provide an honest and accurate overview of the industry and climate at the time.  This allowed our customer to confidently re-specify the requirement and raise the base salary for the role.  

These amendments allowed us to target a wider, more suitable audience and intelligently head hunt suitable candidates for the role.

We subsequently supplied a shortlist of two candidates that we identified through our network and targeted headhunting,

The candidates were put through vetting, psychometric testing and a three stage interview before an offer was made. 


The client hired a candidate with all the skills required to fulfil the role and was very happy with the process.  We’re now in the process of providing a development team.
