Candidate Privacy Statement

 

TIMES Resources Limited are an IT recruitment agency and employment business.  By registering your CV with us you are consenting to the processing (including storage, transfer and disclosure) of your personal data for the sole purposes of finding work (either contract or permanent).  We want to reassure you that we take the collection, use and retention of your personal data seriously.

By sending your CV to TIMES Resources you warrant that the information provided is complete, true and accurate in all respects.

We will store your CV and subsequent information we collect about you, on our Applicant Database.   In some instances we may be required to take up references and other lawful checks.  We may record and store any telephone calls you have with our staff for record keeping, training and quality control purposes.

Unless specifically required otherwise by you we will use contact information such as your email address, address and telephone numbers you supply to contact you.

Your information will not be forwarded to any parties (with the exception of our clients, agents who process data on our behalf and successors in title to our business) without your consent.

Sensitive Personal data such as ethnic origins, race and date of birth may be collected for equal opportunities monitoring purposes only and we may pass this information onto our clients for their monitoring purposes - see our Diversity Policy..

We rely on you to ensure that your information is complete, accurate and current. Please do inform TIMES Resources promptly of any changes to your information.

If you do not wish us to hold your information, you are entitled to tell us at any time and we will remove all such information from our database.

 

Reference Checking

 

We are aware and fully appreciate that some job seekers are reluctant to provide names of references to recruitment agencies for fear those referees will be bombarded with sales calls.   We have therefore altered our procedures to obtain references for our Contract Applicants only when an interview has been arranged with one of our clients.  At that stage we then seek a minimum two verbal references as part of quality control procedures.  Please rest assured that your referees will not by subjected to sales calls by our company.
